Transfer Partners Guide
Complete guide to Chase, American Express, Capital One and Citi transfer partners and how to use them.
Are you interested in staying near Disneyland California, on points? Here are some great properties and ways to earn points for your stay!
Hyatt
The best part of Hyatt stays are the incredible point redemptions. It is easy to get the best bang for your points when booking with Hyatt. The fact that taxes and resort fees are included in your point stay is a huge money savings.
My favorite way to earn points for Hyatt is earning Chase Ultimate Rewards, and then transferring them to my free World of Hyatt loyalty account. There are seven cards in the Chase portfolio of cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards and you can earn points with ANY of these cards.
However, you must hold either the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Reserve or the Chase Ink Business Preferred card in order to have access to sending points to transfer partners like Hyatt.
If you earn points from a card like the Chase Ink Business cash, all you need to do is combine the points into one of the cards above and then transfer to Hyatt. It take a matter of seconds to complete these transfers.
Great Hyatt Disney Options
Hyatt House at Anaheim Resort is a great option. It offers free breakfast, guest laundry, and some rooms with a full kitchen.
Here are my favorite Chase Ultimate Rewards earning cards.
Marriott
With Marriott, you can grab an offer that earns you free night certificates and using those certificates to visit Disneyland is going to be a great deal for you. If you are booking a Marriott room with points, always remember that when you stay 4 nights the 5th night is free.
When you use a free night certificate, you can top off your stay with up to 15,000 points if you choose to use the certificate for a more expensive property.
Marriott’s footprint is HUGE with over 8,000 properties in more than 131 countries around the world.
Great Marriott Disney Options
Fairfield Anaheim Resort is just a 7 minute walk from Disneyland, and offers a heated pool and guest laundry.

Hilton
Hilton is a great “fill-in” award program, much like IHG and Marriott. If possible, I tend to book Hyatt’s and then fill in with the other programs when Hyatt’s small footprint doesn’t suit my travel needs.
Book 4 consecutive nights with points, and get the 5th night free! You can access free breakfast at Canopy, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Home2 Suites, Homewood Suites, and Tru properties.
Here are my current favorite Hilton point-earning cards.
IHG
IHG has some great perks like book 3 consecutive nights with points, and get the 4th night free! The award pricing is 100% dynamic, making planning for point stays a bit more complicated, but pricing since the change has been said to have improved.IHG is a transfer partner with the Chase and Bilt.
Here are my current favorite IHG point-earning cards.
Choice
A great perk is when you earn Citi ThankYou points you can transfer them to Choice with 1:2 ratio. Meaning 1 Citi Thankyou point is worth 2 Choice points. This is fantastic!
Here are my current favorite Choice point-earning cards.
Final thought
If Disneyland California is on your travel list, there are so many great options to choose from. It is an easy redemption, and then you also have all the fun and excitement that the LA area offers, whether it be the nearby beaches, hiking, or a city adventure.

I was researching index funds and happened upon the points and miles community through creators who also post about budgets, financial independence, and investing.
Points and miles allowed those people to travel and work toward financial independence simultaneously.
Thank goodness I got started when I did. The past almost two years of travel have been something we will never forget.
Earning points and miles through credit cards is only a good choice if you have the financial discipline to use them, like cash/debit cards.
Since we started traveling with points and miles, we have had more money going into our investment and savings accounts than ever.
